Damn that was a lot of work, the man has some serious skills and knowledge. It turned out very nice.
I found it quite interesting what he used for a roof too.
I have heard of it but never seen it before.
It’s an interesting watch.
H/T to Ernie. (NSFW)

I immediately thought of him too.
I have watched the PBS show about hime several times.
The guy was amazing at what he did with so little.

I wonder if women find this arousing. Maybe the ones with good feminine instincts would.
I can’t imagine the feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment from waking up warm, cozy and dry in something you built with your own hands. I would have cheated and used something better for the roof. I wonder if you could make enough crude pitch to cover a roof without burning down half the forest.

I woke up in Nebraska this morning and was starting to yap about a little bit of snow that fell overnight and how that might cause me a bit of trouble today. Then I watched this guy do what he did with his bare hands, old school tools and balls to build that cabin. And then I shut the fuck up. Thanks for posting this video, Phil. Take care, my friend.

I follow his YouTube channel postings regularly (My Self Reliance). He posts a new video weekly, and it’s always entertaining to watch the progress he makes week to week.
